At Rapid7, we're building a security analytics platform to help customers easily find, manage and reduce risk. We're seeking a number of highly motivated individuals to help ensure our platform stays secure, reliable and available for thousands of customers that rely on it every day.
The Platform Delivery team is a high-profile group supporting all Rapid7 products from development tooling to cloud infrastructure management and cloud operations. We work directly with developers to maximize and ensure the performance and uptime of our SaaS products. We strive to maintain a DevOps culture, empowering development while promoting security and reliability. We are a global team with a local focus working alongside our product development teams to bring the next generation of security solutions to our customers.
This role will focus on the security aspects of our analytics platform. You'll work closely with our Information Security teams to devise and implement security best-practices across our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Engage with our Information Security teams to continually evolve how we protect our customers' data and our platform
Collaborate with engineering teams to level-up security across our platform - from design to deployment to operations, monitoring, upgrade and maintenance
Automate infrastructure through Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible and Docker/Kubernetes
Requirements
Proven experience working with SaaS services and infrastructure
Proficient in AWS services, including EC2, RDS, VPC networking, S3.
Networking and linux system administration skills
Goal-driven, positive attitude with strong communication skills
Comfortable with one or more of the following - languages: Python, Ruby, Javascript, Java, Bash
Working knowledge with one or more of the following - Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Ansible, Puppet
Passionate about developer experiences and making things happen
Never done mentality
