Join us as a Content Revenue Analyst

We are looking for a Content Analyst to join the Retail Revenue team. You will be responsible for managing the revenue and costs associated with all non-mobile services including 3 Plus loyalty, Insurance, Accessories & Lifestyle and provision of charge to mobile services.

You will develop skills in accounting, analysing, and forecasting, while working closely with our Commercial team to ensure that we are achieving the best results.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing area within the business.

 

What else it involves

  • Ensure all month end accounting for Product and Services streams is completed to a high level while fully meeting month end deadlines
  • Preparation of monthly management information reports, including analysis of Revenue and Margin for areas of responsibility.
  • Monthly presentation to the Commercial Department detailing actual performance versus Budget/Forecast. 
  • Providing valuable insights into ways to improve margin or to prevent revenue loss. 
  • Identifying ways to improve efficiency through automation of non-value add tasks.
  • Working closely with the Commercial department to support all aspects of the Content portfolio.
  • Preparation of monthly settlement statements for 3rd Party Content Providers.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and meeting tight internal/external audit requirements.
  • Lead/assist with various revenue related projects, attend project kick off and workshops dedicated to scoping the business requirements of potential revenue sources.
  • Assessing impacts of change in processes and highlighting gaps in reporting of new revenue streams
  • Assist the Revenue Manager with financial controls, processes, and procedures within the revenue reporting area.
  • Working closely with the Project Analyst in the Revenue team to help support on-going Projects.
  • PQ or Qualified Accountant
  • Experience of Financial and Management accounting and control
  • Experience of reporting and analysis to all levels within a company
  • Strong MS Office Excel skills
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude that can work independently and within a team environment

Nice to have:

  • Oracle Financial systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of managing and reporting various revenue streams
  • Experience in the Telco Industry
  • Knowledge of data tools
  • Ability to work well in cross functional teams
  • Ability to translate financial principles to non-financial audience
