Channel Activation Executive

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

Applying the outputs of the Brand, Channel and Customer Plans you will create and implement best in class instore execution plans that will meet the needs of our Shoppers, deliver category value growth for our Customers as well as delivering against our gross profit and market share objectives.                               

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage execution plans from concept to in trade activation in line with our Business, Customer and Brand plans
  • Develop best in class Point of Sale and digital activation suite
  • Manage and lead cross functional mobilisation teams
  • Build and deliver key projects on-time and in full, in line with trade deadlines, gaining commitment from all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Set and monitor KBIs for all trade projects
  • Lead the development and communication of all support material for the Field Sales Team
  • Build strong links with Field sales teams to ensure there is a full understanding across the teams of all major programs
  • Manage DME Project Budgets
  • Complete Evaluations for all key projects with clear recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Continue to work on self-development through ownership of your IDP, following business trends and improving knowledge

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an FMCG marketing role, with a minimum 1 year Channel or Customer Marketing experience
  • Ability to use and communicate data to create and deliver compelling selling stories
  • Ability to influence and communicate to sales teams to get full execution of our plans and activities
  • Experience of Point of Sale Development
  • Excel and Powerpoint Proficiency 
  • Excellent planning, process and time management skills
  • Results orientated, tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve with a strong desire to make things happen, entrepreneurial and self- motivating

  • Full, unrestricted driving licence

  • Experience managing agency relationships
