BI Developer - Support Systems Engineering

About the Role:

In this role, the BI Developer will deliver solutions that support the data science strategies of the Support Systems Engineering team for Citco Fund Services. This include projects within Citco’s monitoring, operational efficiency and transparency, and self-service strategies. The Support Systems Engineering group provides development, automation and data visualisation for the wider Citco IT division. The role is situated in the Dublin office, which is Citco’s expanding development hub in EMEA.

This role partners with application owners, development and QA leads, applications support and infrastructure teams to ensure Citco Data projects are designed, implemented and reviewed with a view to high quality, supportable solutions. This includes both new modules and green field developments, and collaboration with development leads and architects.

Job Duties in Brief:

• Deliver solutions to improve Data capture, analysis and usage within Citco strategies
• Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale data systems
• Contribution to emerging Citco data strategies
• Systems documentation and knowledge base management

Experience and Technical Skills

• 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in a BI Developer role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in SQLServer, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Postgres or similar
• Strong experience with the ELK stack – Elastisearch, Logstash and Kibana
• Proficiency with windows infrastructure
• Familiar with Qlik
• Experience working in an Agile, project based environment
• Proficiency in creating appeal and superior Data Visualizations through Qlik, Kibana or Grafana

Education

• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
• Certification and training in one or more technology stacks
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and training
