BI & Data Analyst - Talent Acquisition

We (the Recruiting Operations Team) are looking for an individual who knows how to tell a story with data. Our team consists of a Recruiting Operations Specialist, Recruiting Coordination Manager,  and Recruiting Coordinators. Recruiting Operations (aka Rec Ops) is responsible for process, projects, compliance, tools management, and reporting for the Recruiting Team. We are looking for a team member who can make sense of all our Recruiting Data. Our team thrives on the impact we make. When we aren’t solving problems and making process improvements we are a tight-knit team (yet global team spanning from Singapore to Palo Alto) that is supportive and grows together. 

 

A Day in the Life

You will spend your days wrapped up in data! You’ll meet with report stakeholders to gather, consult, and define report requirements. You will audit data, create visual dashboards, create executive summaries and demonstrate a deep understanding of the data and the impact it has on the business.

 

You will…

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Recruiting’s business processes
  • be consultative (not an order taker)
  • be regularly asked to conduct ad-hoc analysis to assist with time sensitive decision making
  • build the analytics infrastructure by creating and maintaining reports with a high level of data integrity and accuracy
  • Data Visualization - make sense of our data and tell a meaningful story for our Quarterly Business Reviews with the business we support as well as our review with our CHRO
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Audit Reports
  • Diversity Reporting
  • act with a sense of urgency when managing competing (and sometimes quickly changing) priorities
  • a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and display this by asking the right questions, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions by making appropriate assumptions
  • 1-2 years’ experience gathering report requirements for data analysis and creating reports for Recruiting functions
  • 1-2 years’ experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (we use Workday Recruiting) and you’re familiar with candidate management workflows, requisition data and other back-end data structure
  • advanced Excel skills
  • the ability to pay strong attention to detail and ability to work well with changing information
  • the ability to be resourceful and take initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem solving
  • the ability to manage competing priorities and effectively manage your time
  • the ability to establish an efficient course of action for yourself and others to ensure work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner
