About the Role
The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer with experience crafting content for enterprise software targeted to professional and technical audiences.
- Works closely with editorial, development, product management, customer support, and services to develop high-quality technical content.
- Drafts, maintains, and edits content for release notes, release publications, and UI text.
- Prepares content for online delivery.
- Learns and tests product functionality while writing documentation.
- Learns and applies Workday writing style.
- Learns the Workday product for a single product area with assistance.
- Learns the Information Development processes and tools.
- Provides regular updates to manager on project status.
- Attends Agile and team meetings.
- Assists with shared projects across the larger team with supervision and assistance.
About You
We're looking for someone with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and who's analytical with strong attention to detail, thrives in a collaborative environment, and shares our passion for improving the customer experience with high-quality content.
- Nearing completion or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree (Within January 2022 -August 2022).
Other Qualifications
- Interest in or experience with enterprise software preferred.
- Some experience with XML, HTML, or structured authoring tools.
- Internships related to writing or software development.
