Use generative ML methods to analyse multi-modal datasets
Have a deep understanding of and experience in building generative models
Have a broad understanding of and experience in statistics, including Bayesian methods
Have experience in Causal Inference and Optimization
Take a hands-on role and deliver on highly visible multiple projects
Serve as an ambassador for Novartis Data Science by presenting and publishing articles
Build a bridge between academia, technology, and industry partners
Keep ahead of latest developments in the field and mentor associates

Relevant experience in Data Science Information & Decision Theories Data Visualisation Machine Learning & Deep Learning Big Data Applied Mathematics Predictive Modelling Data Management
Statistical Programming 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Data Science Libraries, Algorithms Development, Python, R Unix/Linux Source Code management (Git, bitbucket)
An advanced degree (master’s or doctoral) in a quantitative field including but not limited to Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Astro/Physics, all relevant engineering disciplines
Three or more years of relevant thought leadership/publication track record in Machine learning applications/generative methods
5+ years of experience in end-to-end analysis for large scale data sets
Cross-industry experience highly preferred and previous experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare desired
