Application Engineer - UI

You will be working at our Dublin office, in a hands-on capacity within the Reveal Tribe group and will be responsible for engineering and maintaining features and components for our award winning SAAS offering, Reveal. Emphasis in the role will be focused on UI Development.

  • Participate in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your team.
  • Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code.
  • Liaise with product stakeholders and other teams in the organization to complete the projects on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in a professional software development role.
  • Experience in software design and development of Angular or related technology (REACT, VUE) Single Page Applications with demonstrated examples of experience.
  • Experience with NGRX and State Management or related technologies such as REDUX, FLUX or NGXS.
  • Experience/understanding of RXJS and reactive functional programming.
  • Experience writing UI based unit tests with testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine or Mocha.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented/SOLID Design principles and Practices.
  • Experience with CSS Pre-processors such as SCSS, SASS, LESS.
  • Experience creating responsive layouts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Typescript.
  • Demonstrated utilisation and knowledge of the latest ECMAScript standards and features.
  • Experience of RESTFUL Architectures.
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  • Knowledge of GIT or related source control technology.

Even better if you have:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of AWS based architectures and services.
  • Knowledge of C#/.NET.
  • Experience to TDD and/or BDD.
  • Experience with ELK Stack.
  • Experience with distributed caching and messaging frameworks.
