Agile Coach

Description

We are working with a leading innovator in alternative funding solutions for growing companies. Our client is building their next generation platform combining leading edge technologies with innovative financial services.

As they are rethinking how they structure their internal product development processes, together we're looking for an Agile Coach - a new role within the company, that will report directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

  • Shape our development lifecycle from inception to release.
  • Blend the best of traditional, agile and lean processes into a custom process supporting high-performance development teams.
  • Establish the primary outputs that will support the development in defining, estimating, co-ordinating and delivering on their work.
  • Facilitate a process of continuous improvement to ensure the alignment of the process to the desired outputs.
  • Identify, select and deploy tools that support the operation of the process.
  • Provide transparency and visibility into the progress of the development teams.
  • Mentor the engineering teams in the application of the development process.
  • You will have broad experience of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Lean and Kanban methodologies with 4+ years of practical experience.
  • You will have experience of traditional project management practices and be able to demonstrate how these skills support a high-performing development team.
  • You will have a clear perspective on the factors that lead to an effective process, and demonstrable experience in building such a process
  • You are an innovator who is seeking to take responsibility for a key function in a high-performance technology team.
  • You want a role which blends authority and accountability for establishing a project delivery practice that blends the best of multiple methodologies into a coherent delivery process in a fast-paced fintech company.
  • You’re a natural born leader with great people and process management skills.
  • Hold a third level degree or qualification in a technology or engineering related discipline
  • Comfortable in a high paced, fast moving FinTech environment
  • Ambitious and keen to use your initiative in an entrepreneurial business environment
  • Fluent in English with great written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised and able plan own time to independently progress and complete multiple activities
