Job Description:
You will develop solutions, applying the most exciting technologies available today. Your role will involve working in a large Agile team of software developers. You will help build highly scalable and available network management applications deployed on cloud environments. You will be involved in the full software development life cycle, from early analysis and design, through programming, integration and testing, to deployment activities and 3rd line support.
Candidate Profile:
As we are ramping up our R&D Software team we are hiring a number of developers so we are happy to speak with developers with anywhere from five years to 10+ years experience in enterprise scale Java development. Java 8 experience is required and experience of Microservices and/or building APIs desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with strong documentation skills also required.
In addition, any of the following would also be desirable:
- Agile/Scrum
- SCJP (Sun Certified Java Programmer)
- SCEA (Sun Certified Enterprise Architect)
- Scripting Expertise (SED & AWK, Shell, Perl)
- Expertise in development platforms & frameworks and in representational languages (e.g. UML, XML)
- Some team lead / mentoring experience would be beneficial
- Strong Unix/Linux background
