Ergo are seeking a Senior Windows Server Engineer for an exciting project in Dublin city. This is a 6-month contract onsite role where you will support a major integration / migration with a well-known global market-leader.

As a contract role Visa sponsorship is not included so candidates must have EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa.
What will you do?
- Provide implementation and support for IT infrastructure services on all hosted windows operating system flavours from Windows 2003 to Windows 2016+. Work proactively within a project and service team(s) on project and subsequent incident requests.
- Support Windows Servers functions including OS, patching, service packs, configuration, AD, DNS, DHCP and Domain services
- Develop and maintain windows platform for the server as a host, connected with multiple clients (other computers)
- Test and certify new versions of windows operating system providing better solution and integration for the application like VMware and SharePoint.
- Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions.
- Implement regular checks for the status of servers including hardware and software.
- Maintain and support multi-site windows environment along with hardware and software configuration.
- Management of server migration when required by the client.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role (IT Engineer, Systems Administrator, Migration Consultant)
- Windows Server (2003 - 2016)
- VMware
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager - SCCM / Intune
- M365 - Exchange, Teams, O365
- Previous experience of implementing and supporting system integrations / migrations
- Ability to travel occasionally
- EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa
