My Dublin based client is looking for a UX/UI Developer to join their team.
Project: Microsoft PowerApps design and development services FY21
Project Scope: Our client has over two hundred applications built in Lotus Notes ranging from simple monitored mailboxes to complex case management systems with integration to local devices, API’s to other data sources of data and web based engagement with the public.
Our client is currently migrating from Lotus Domino based development to a suite of new frameworks. One of these frameworks is the Microsoft suite of low code/no code tools including PowerApps, PowerAutomate and PowerBI. To support the redevelopment of existing applications and the creation of new applications we now require a UX/UI resource with PowerApps experience to deliver new and redeveloped solutions.
Work Scope: This will be a part-time role, where the resource will be required for 2.5 days per week, although there is potential for this to eventually be a full-time role. This primarily will be a prototyping role. Initially they will be working with various stakeholders to draft a style guide for all PowerApps applications. Once that is completed, their role will be prototyping various applications in Figma (or another similar prototyping tool), once requirements have been gathered. Once the business signs off on the prototypes they will hand off to the Dev team.
In summary, my client is looking for someone with 7 years’ experience in being able to prototype various applications using tools such as Figma, Marvel, InvisionApp or Balsamiq for example. The person will work closely with dedicated Business Analysts and the PowerApps Dev team. While it might be difficult to source someone with 7 years’ experience, this may be negotiable with the client. We would also be looking for someone that’s familiar with the Microsoft stack.
