The Apps Sup Tech Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. We are looking for dynamic individual to be part of a growing organization that manages Test environments across payment processor applications for Citi’s Treasury group. As we embark on to the transformation journey, we are currently expanding our organization to support and manage test environments working with various stakeholders and provide dynamic solutions. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

• Manages one or more apps support teams.
• Provides technical oversight across systems and applications; leverage skills across multiple apps support areas.
• Provide a holistic view of the test environments for both technology and business management, working closely as a trusted partner for senior business heads.
• Work with many application leads to understand the needs of Infrastructure/services from DevOps front.
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC and code propagation.
• Knowledge of cloud, container services and docker/open shift implementations and architecture.
• Manage and develop continuous integration, build and deployment automation frameworks.
• Mentor and guide team to provide complete support to the development teams, and work with teams having global presence.
• Build setup configurations on WAS/TOMCAT and standalone Java application servers, understand Hadoop/big data infrastructure.
• Performs controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation to relevant groups when appropriate, root cause analysis of all problems with follow-through to resolution.
• Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual which includes better monitoring, failover and resiliency
• Ability to handle incidents, problems and change at a global enterprise level. Calm and analytical when faced with major incidents on critical systems.
• Responsible for delivery of end results and shares responsibility for budget management which directly impacts the apps support area; accountable for resource planning.
• Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information with inherent confidence with operations and technology partners on a regional or global basis.
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in SDLC, CI and CD tools, Configuration and Release Management, deployments and troubleshooting environments.
• Experience with people management
• Highly assertive communications skills, commanding personality. Ability to engage a large audience and lead the discussion with clear, articulate, and highly assertive communication. Must show confidence in all communications
• Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
• 5+ years industry experience in DevOps Engineering related to Platform Automation with Ansible
• Strong knowledge and working experience of JIRA, Confluence, Service Now.
• Hands on with Docker, Containers and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Strong Unix shell scripting
• Strong Documentations skills to prepare build/deployment/POC Documents.
• Experience with Linux systems and  hands on shell scripting.
• Strong experience in configuring WAS and TOMCAT application servers and setup.
• Knowledge of public cloud
• Exposure to middleware, NAS and SFTP setups  and BigData cluster configurations.
• Knowledge on Docker implementation and containerization.
• Exposure in setting up TIBCO, NAS, SFTP.
• Think out of Box to create solutions

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
• Program management and Agile certifications preferred
