Technology Services Project Coordinator

A vacancy has arisen for a Technology Services Project Coordinator at Glanbia Business Services. This is a permanent position and will report to the Technology Service Project Lead.

 

While potentially likely to be initially working remotely, the base location of the role will be Citywest, Dublin 24 OR Kilkenny, upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Working under the direction of a Technology Services Project Lead, the Project Coordinator role involves management of activities within all project phases and contribution to quality of key project deliverables (project charter, blueprint document, cutover plan, post go-live support plan)

 

Key elements of the role

  • Work in a technical services team in the delivery of Technology Services projects
  • Ensure all Glanbia standards and policies are adhered by the project team
  • Assists in the risk assessment, quality, budgeting, and scope management of deployment project plans
  • Adhere to IT design principles and standards as defined by Global Infrastructure & Design Services
  • Be the key on-site (and regional) deployment lead for regional Technology Services rollouts
  • Lead medium to large size projects
  • Deliver projects to agreed designs, timeframes and budgets using Glanbia Project Management methodologies:
    • Technical integration project delivery
    • New technology service rollouts (for new and existing business)
    • Hardware / software upgrade project delivery
    • Project documentation, handover to Operations support and service desk
    • Project risk assessment and mitigation
    • Project status communication
  • Be the local feedback channel to Sr. Manager of Technical Projects, Head of Global Operations and Head of Design Services functions for quality and other business requirements
  • Stay current with Project Management trends

Qualifications

  • 3rd Level relevant project management qualification and experience in a globally dispersed organisation. Technical qualification is nice to have.
