Solutions Architect - End user services

The Solutions Architect is an intermediate level position has direct interaction with operational product managers, vendors, engineers, and senior managers to ensure technology is delivered within the appropriate business context. This role is also part of a team that manages the relationship with users and sponsors to understand business requirements, runs and manages pilots and proof of concepts via our Early Adopter program and drives adoption of solutions to improve business productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Solutions Design process for assigned areas, ensuring all technical & business requirements are delivered via robust, secure and scalable solutions.
  • Ensure that all solution designs align to the strategic architectural patterns and governance standards of the organization.
  • Ensure the consistent definition, implementation and adherence to non-functional requirements standards for each solution design.
  • Direct the development of technical infrastructure/architecture and standards to enable quality delivery of business and technical requirements.
  • Develop technology road maps, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, and recommends direction based on these technologies.
  • Provide integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current solutions.
  • Act as point of escalation for support investigations and troubleshooting for supported technologies
  • Act as an advisor or mentor to junior team members.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Engineering experience on MDM/MAM platforms comprised of iOS & Android devices
  • Experience with Android & iOS – hardware, software, scripting, Apple DEP, Android for Enterprise, packaging and deploying applications and policies via MDM to these devices
  • Experience implementing and managing Azure/O365 Cloud/SaaS solutions.
  • Strong presentation, influencing, reasoning and communication skills, both verbal and written to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives
  • Naturally creative and inquisitive with the ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions
  • Have a balanced mix of Technical & Business skills.

Education:

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
