We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to become part of our consulting team. You’ll deliver solutions based on the Dynamics Power Platform and wider Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical and functional knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform and Dynamics 365 applications as well as new and emerging Microsoft cloud technologies. You will be responsible for the overall design of Business Applications using Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps and leading a team of developers.

Person Specification
You will be driven, resilient, curious, confident and commercially aware. You will have the ability to determine strong technology solutions for our clients, working with our Codec Labs department to identify potential for reuse.
We’re looking for a experienced senior developer or architect with a technical mind-set, but with the ability to lay out a strategy and bridge the gap at executive leadership level for our customers. You will be responsible for:
- Commercial and business awareness to drive Practice growth
- Assist in project forecasting, planning, estimation and delivery
- Be an evangelist for the Microsoft Cloud, leveraging Automation and Low Code technologies
- Be involved in the tech community and an active observer of latest trends and technologies
- Drive excellence in technical delivery, identify risks early-on, create mitigation plans and recover challenged technical deliveries
- Mentorship and Performance Management responsibilities for a small team of consultants
- Solution envisioning and design in Agile or Waterfall development environments, using Microsoft technologies (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Portals, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, C#, SharePoint)
- Communicate with business stakeholders and business analysts to ensure the solution design meets their requirements
- Work closely with developers to ensure a development approach is in line with the proposed design and overall standards
- Work with our experience project management team in ongoing iterative planning process - estimating development effort and allocation of development, configuration and testing tasks
- Make recommendations on the allocation of resources into sprint teams according to skills and capacity and provide mentoring and support to developer resources
- Evaluate new products and 3rd party components when the need arises to assess their fitness for purpose
- Identify project risks and participate in defining risk mitigation and control activities.
- Maintain lean documentation, ensuring it is kept relevant and useful
- Assist with providing inputs to the project plans, estimates and scope for sales proposals and statements of work.
- You can deal with all levels of a client organisation, with a proven track record sizing and scoping business requirements into clearly defined specifications.
