We are hiring a Software engineer at any level junior right up to Principal. The Norton Secure VPN backend team provides the services that powers Norton Secure VPN. As a leading consumer cyber security brand, we know that all of your data that you send and receive from your device like passwords and credit card numbers is sensitive. When you connect to a public Wi-Fi, we encrypt and convert that data into an unreadable, untraceable form until it reaches its destination, making it secure. We are working on some very interesting challenges and are looking for passionate technologists to join our team. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic team environment on worldwide cloud-based services and products.

Responsibilities:

• Developing backend applications, including designing, coding, testing, deploying, and monitoring

• Troubleshooting issues and monitoring trends in our systems with an eye on improving the customer experience and reducing costs

• Communicating with confidence, speaking up with questions, concerns, or praise when needed

• Working positively and thriving in a team with other passionate technologists

2 -15 years of developing applications in Java, C++, Go, or C# We are very open to consider everyone and give opportunity

Experience troubleshooting and debugging applications

Strong Computer Science background

Familiarity with interfaces built upon Restful HTTP APIs

Scripting language experience such as Python or Ruby

NoSQL database familiarity

Experience working on Agile teams

Experience working with AWS

Networking or VPN experience
