Our Advanced Analytics team is looking for a software engineer with experience in microservice development and delivering solutions with Cloud technologies, to join us in building the future of SAP's data intelligence strategy. 

Our team works out of our next-generation AppHaus which is a unique physical space for software development, a living embodiment of the philosophy of Design Thinking. 

What is this team’s technology stack?

• Our product stack and tools include: 
• Java and Node microservices
• HANA XS JavaScript services
• Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes as a platform
• SAP HANA/Postgres

Typescript and React frontend with Jest, Jasmine and Robot Framework testing technologies
 
Responsibilities 
•    Taking end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through to deployment 
•    Designing solutions to complex problems and requirements in collaboration with others in a cross-functional team 
•    Participating in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues
•    Production debugging, RCA’s & bug fixing
•    Working as part of a highly-motivated Agile team towards achieving common goals

• 3+ years’ experience as a Java software engineer
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills
• Experience with building RESTful microservices with Java & Spring Boot
• Very good working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Track record of producing high quality and testable code

•  Knowledge of cloud architectures, development practices and tools

• Experience with performance & scalability testingave 2-7 years of experience in some(or all) of the following: SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), implementation experience on versions 9.1 or above, Strong skills in EWM processes like Inbound, outbound and internal WH movements.
• In addition to that you should have Java / ABAP programming skills including Abap Webdynpro and BRF+ Framework. Integration of SAP TM with S4H / ECC and MDM Catalogs will be added advantage.
