CloudWatch is an observability service built for developers, system operators, site reliability engineers (SRE), and IT managers. CloudWatch collects monitoring and operational data in the form of logs, metrics, and events, providing a unified view of AWS resources, applications and services that run on AWS, and on-premises servers. Customers use CloudWatch to set high resolution alarms, visualize logs and metrics side by side, take automated actions, troubleshoot issues, and discover insights to optimize their applications, and ensure they are running smoothly. The CloudWatch team in Dublin is growing and we are looking for exceptional Software Development Managers to lead our awesome development teams and create the next generation CloudWatch experience.

Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Manager for the CloudWatch organisation, you will be responsible for
· Leading and growing a high performing & inclusive team of Software Engineers.
· Driving your team's roadmap, delivering new functionality, architectures and ensuring a high level of operational excellence.
· Defining and drive new features and services that excite customers and stoke their imaginations about what’s possible in the cloud.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of Software Development experience
· 3+ years of experience as a development leader or manager building and leading strong engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A passion for leading and coaching high performing teams
· A proven track record of delivering high quality software on time
· Deep hands-on technical expertise; prior experience as a software developer or other technically focused engineering role preferred
· A passion for high scale, real-time, data-driven, monitoring and observability systems.
