- Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress OpenEdge application
- Produce high quality software solutions within time and budget
- Provide support of existing applications to an agreed SLA
- Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning
- Create innovative and dynamic solutions
- Build software that supports multiple user interfaces (Web, RF Gun, Tablet, PC)
- Integrate with 3rd Party robotics & automation
- Facilitate and support on-site deployments of major projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree or third level qualification in IT, or equivalent experience
- 2+ Years of experience in Progress/OpenEdge software development
- Excellent understanding of relational databases
- Experience in successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment
- Working knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands
- Ability to see the bigger picture and understand a global application focus
