Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain alignment of business -IT and functional strategies and priorities -by communicating the strategy to all stakeholders and foster feedback and engagement with strategy development. –
• Collaborate with IT Innovation Manager and Project Portfolio Management organization to identify and create business opportunities. -Advise and oversee the development of business cases for strategic initiatives. -Maintain alignment of IT roadmap / strategies -business and functional demand and investment plans.
• Coordinate governance reviews of innovation projects and partner with IT Innovation team on innovation projects as required. - Accountable for Software Asset Inventory and cloud-based SW assets - Accountable to ensure asset information (financials, license, warranties etc.) is recorded and made available
• Operationally Support the SW asset inventory and ensure it is aligned and distributed across the organization. - Operationally manage SW throughout the entire asset life cycle - Develop and implement governance and procedures for tracking relevant asset information throughout the asset lifecycle
• Plan, monitor and record relevant SW asset information to ensure cost optimal deployment/usage and compliance with vendor contracts - Ensure availability of key asset information to support IT strategy, architecture, internal charging, funding and sourcing decisions. Keep SW asset records up to date (maintain all relevant attributes) for SW assets in scope –
• Drive value out of existing and future contracts by ensuring cost optimal deployment and usage of SW assets - Support/advise IT functions regarding ad hoc contractual questions - Work with demand managers and relevant IT stakeholders to understand SW asset demand and to define the required SLAs that service providers need to comply - Compare warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts to assist with SW asset upkeep, upgrades, patching and replacement –
• Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within SAM scope - Execute SW vendor audits, together with Head of Software Asset Mgmt
