This role is for a Senior Designer to join the FCAT blockchain incubator team. The role calls for an experienced designer who has experience in a lean startup environment. Working closely with our blockchain team the successful candidate will work on Proof of Concept projects in the areas of blockchain technology.

Lead the UX on a range of project types, from design and build, to Research/Discovery

Ability to understand and extract complex problems into intuitive, informed solutions

Ability to articulate and champion your design solutions based on human-centred design principles and incorporating research data

Be customer centered, highly collaborative and inclusive

Be a designer with an eye towards code

Create sketches and scrappy prototypes as well as polished visual design comps

Create interactive wireframes and functional prototypes

Be the visual voice – visual design comps for prototypes and occasional collateral material

Build collaborative relationships with internal business partners and project teams

The Expertise We’re Looking For:

Degree (or relevant qualification) in a related field, such as Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Visual Communications or Human Factors.

6+ years’ experience as an UX designer, information architect, interaction designer, visual designer, or a similar role

Experience in an enterprise IT function, preferably a multi-national company

Experience with the following is desirable:

Experience with Design Thinking (Stanford d.School) a huge plus

Lean UX or Lean Start-up methods the hugest plus

Experience working in Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) a plus

Knowledge of animation, motion design and dynamic interaction skills a plus
