This role requires a Senior Solution Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Technologies including Azure to lead the design of a technology and solution architecture to support a large multi-year modernization of the organisations technology estate. It requires  experience designing complex enterprise scale solutions and will it be necessary to work across multiple architecture domains including business architecture, application architecture, integration, data, security and infrastructure. This role includes responsibility for defining cloud/hybrid solution architectures and legacy migration approaches based on Microsoft Azure.

• Have strong solution design and architecture pedigree and experience (7 years or more) with a predominant background in application design/architecture.
• Have strong Microsoft and Azure credentials (including the latest in Azure IaaS and PaaS capabilities) with relevant training and certifications.
• Experience with BPM and case management platforms.
• Have experience in a principle or lead architecture role across a large technology transformation programs.
• You will define solution architectures translating business needs into realisable system designs.
• You will use your understanding of technology to help define and build systems with real business alignment and value.
• Broad experience base across multiple areas of application integration, infrastructure technologies and demonstrated experience and expertise in bringing all of these respective technologies into a cohesive, effective IT architecture.
• Ability to define architecture blueprints and views and document them to a high standard.
• Passion for innovation and creative problem solving and intellectual curiosity.
• Have experience in client facing roles.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and collaborate with large multidisciplinary teams.
• You will be able to communicate your vision and designs to others, producing documented designs and presenting your solution and its benefits.
• Ability to communicate detailed technical topics to a business audience.
• Have previous consulting experience or consultancy background.
• Knowledge and experience of common enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability the deliver to tight deadlines.
• A third level degree or certification in a technology discipline.
• Excellent knowledge on multi system landscape architecture and design techniques.
• Possess a formal architecture certification, for example TOGAF.
