Senior Software QA Engineer
$90-125K DOE
**Please note that candidates must be in the North Carolina area or be prepared to relocate within 4 weeks of acceptance**
We currently have an opening within our clients development team to join as a Senior Software QA Engineer. The client are in a significant period of growth and have added a number of people to the engineering team in the last 4 months.
As a Senior Software QA Engineer you will be instrumental in the testing of the companies product. A major part of the role will be to move everything form a Manual environment to an Automated environment.
You will be require tod write, test and fix test cases so having the ability to write scripts/code is a must.
Senior Software QA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and extend test automation
- Mentor and support the evolution of expert code/testing developed by other QA engineers
- Work as part of a team through Test-driven development process
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- OOP experience preferably C# but any other OOP is fine as well (Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby etc)
- Strong experience in Testing Web, API and Mobile applications
- Experience in writing manual test cases
- Strong experience in automation and using latest open source/vendor automation frameworks such as Selenium
- Experienced in Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Exposure to CI/CD
- Exposure on public cloud offerings
