Our business telematics solution includes apps on Android mobile devices which need to be managed through our Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution.
We are looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our software product development team in Galway. You should have a strong interest in technology, enjoy problem solving, be willing to take initiative and drive change. This is a demanding but rewarding position for someone with significant development expertise who can self-manage your projects and lead others.
You will:
- Integrate with various APIs to produce internal facing software products
- Be responsible for creating tooling that works with our EMM software
- Produce state of the art technical designs, software, tests and document assets
- Advocate and drive automation of manual processes
- Be a strong advocate of good agile development practices – code reviews, automated test, continuous integration, continuous delivery
- Work closely with our EMM Team Lead to monitor, manage and maintain EMM infrastructure
What we’d love for you to bring to the table:
- A passion for using technology to make a difference to people and organisations. We'll supply some amazing tools to help you with this and you'll provide the connection to use cases, which make it real for your customers.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a pre-sales context.
- The ability to create and give technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Experience with some of the following technologies:
- Big Data (specifically Streaming), Data Warehousing or Relational Databases
- One or more of the three major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure or GCP). Formal certification is not required, but would be a great thing to have
- Data Engineering, Data Science or Machine Learning
- Operations, Security and Data Governance within the enterprise
- Python, Java, Scala, Unix or Linux
- Experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements
- Problem solving skills , excellent written and verbal communication
- A willingness to learn, a curiosity to discover and a drive to make your customers successful
- German & English speaking is a requirement
