A talented software engineer is required to join the Packet Processing Solutions Group - an engineering team spanning sites in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Sweden. The team develops cutting edge products including:

These products are aimed at making Data Centre Networking and Telecommunications solutions more effective. This is a highly strategic and important part of Xilinx’s business, targeting a set of customers that includes the most successful internet and cloud companies in the world.
The role involves the development of Drivers, Compilers, Behavioural Models and Code Development Tools, including all parts of the development flow from requirements to product deployment. The successful candidate will over time gain exposure to all these aspects of the role and will have enormous opportunities for learning and self-development. The position is likely to require some travel for visiting other Xilinx sites.
Relevant capabilities
We are recruiting for a fast learning, dynamic software design engineer with C/C++ experience in embedded and/or kernel driver development in a Linux environment.
This position will offer a strong career path within a fast-paced environment where you will develop your skills working with the latest cutting-edge FPGA technology, tools and next-generation architecture.
Responsibilities include specification and development of Software for use in Linux and embedded products.
