I am currently hiring for my client based in Sligo and which is the European Software development hub for a technology driven online retailer. The role for Senior Software Engineer will be part of a highly collaborative environment where developers, testers and business all share a common goal: building software fast, in a reliable, available, and secure way. Ideally the suitable candidate will be based around the West of Ireland within easy reach to our offices, but we will also accommodate remote / hybrid working if you live a bit further afield.

Skills Required

-Ideally 5 years relevant Software Development experience
-Experience with Java and Spring Framework
-Knowledge of building high performance APIs and systems

Desirable

-An understanding of messaging and/or eventing system design and technologies
-Some experience of working in a DevOps culture
-Exposure to operational insight tooling such as New Relic, Grafana, Elastic etc.
