My Dublin based client is looking for an experienced and Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative solutions for OSS/BSS and network functions
- Onsite solution integration
- Customer acceptance testing and deployment
- Working directly with customers for solution customization
- Gather requirements from customers and design the solution
- Instructing / mentoring more junior members of the team, while also being very hands
- Willing to travel post Covid19 restrictions
Experience Required
- 8+ years working in a telecoms environment
- 8+ years experience in software development
- In-depth understanding of telecom networks, technologies, and applications
- Proven working experience in delivering OSS & BSS Solutions
- Experience of technically managing a complex systems integration and deployment project.
- Customer facing and requirement gathering experience
- Mentoring / leadership experience
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Experience with multithreaded application on Linux/Unix
- Java development
- Spring, REST, Jenkins
- DevOps Methodologies: Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with cloud native environment and building DevOps pipelines – incorporating technologies like Docker & Kubernetes
Educational Requirements
- Relevant Computer Science or Software Engineering related degree
- 37.5 hours per week
