Senior Scrum Master

This role is in the Fraud, Waste and Abuse Team where you will be working on the claims audit platform which is a new initiative to modernize legacy platforms onto common platforms for health. Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams within a Release Trail
  • Establish team level cadence and drive team level events (e.g. sprint planning, team backlog grooming, team retrospectives, etc.) in alignment with Program level cadences established
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the team to encourage adoption of good agile practices
  • Be a change agent and foster a “learn by doing” environment
  • Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration
  • Remove impediments for the team(s) and escalate as appropriate
  • Facilitate management of the scrum team’s dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or other scrum teams
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on team-level progress and quality
  • Track and manage project execution in accordance with company's delivery and financial management practices

  • Quick learner: Must be able to quickly gain a high-level understanding of the technical and business domains of the scrum teams
  • Servant Leader: Support the team by eliminating roadblocks
  • Team-oriented: Must be a team player who protects the scrum team

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Experience as a Scrum Master, including delivering modern solutions
  • Experience of managing developer backlogs
  • Strong experience on Agile Methodology
  • Experience in capturing Agile metrics like sprint burndown, burnup, velocity, scope creep

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with MS Visio or equivalent
  • Proficiency with CA Agile Rally
  • Familiarity with project financial reporting
