Senior Product Designer, Growth Integrations

Our Growth Product Group at HubSpot is focused on accelerating the journey of our customers beginning with our freemium products. We're a rapidly growing group with a critical mission for HubSpot’s business. We want to help millions of organisations around the world grow by empowering people to discover, adopt, and buy HubSpot’s products the way they want to. To achieve this, Growth Product Group focuses on acquisition, activation, retention, and monetisation across the entire HubSpot product platform. 

In this role, you’ll harness the power of experimentation to create a high-impact design strategy for the Growth WordPress integrations product team. Along the way, you’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, analysts, researchers, and content designers, as well as stakeholders from across the company, to achieve high-level business and customer goals. 

A delightful and impactful product-led Acquisition and onboarding is critical to HubSpot success as we scale both in the retail and upmarket segments. We want this position to be the go-to for all things Growth WordPress plugin and Integrations across the organisation, but you don’t have to know it all yet. We’ll help you get there! You will lead the development of HubSpot WordPress Plugin and new integrations.

In this role, you will:

  • Craft a design vision and strategy/direction of the product-led WordPress plugging and other integrations to help our users to understand the value of HubSpot and get setup for success
  • Using product experimentation, identify and validate hypotheses towards helping users understand the value of HubSpot and adopt HubSpot on their own
  • Partner with other Growth teams across the product organisation in their efforts to help users with their onboarding/adoption
  • Work with a close-knit group of UX and product people in the Growth Acquisition pillar
  • Connect with the customers to identify insights to drive decisions on how to best improve our Wordpress plugin and find new integrations partners
  • Utilise research and analytics to build delightful and innovative products that continue to delight customers and provide a world-class user experience
  • Evangelise growth design at HubSpot, helping to bring that to our broader design org while continuing to level up the Growth Design team.
  • Experience creating an experimentation strategy and using data to craft a results-driven, customer-focused UX vision
  • Understanding of how to gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative data
  • Experience in systems design and working with and extending design systems
  • Experience conducting and interpreting user research, as well as a strong understanding of how to use results to drive a design strategy
  • Ability to act as a self-starter, proactively using UX frameworks and data to manage ambiguity and provide a clear path toward achieving the highest-impact customer and business goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as experience working with stakeholders from across an organization to establish objectives, set high-level strategies, and advocate for the user
  • Strong visual design skills, including experience creating and adhering to design patterns, as well as the proven ability to create simple, elegant, and accessible solutions for complex problems
  • A developed sense for how to balance speed, quality, and consistency of design
  • Ability to provide and encourage thoughtful feedback on designs, as well as identify overlaps and efficiencies between team members’ work
  • Ability to deliver clear, direct, and actionable feedback without shying away from difficult conversations when there’s friction or uncertainty
  • Understanding of how to foster team health and bring a sense of mission to your group and the broader UX team by creating a safe space for DI&B discussions
  • Experience working on a Growth team is a plus
  • Experience with some light mentoring of other designers is also a plus.
  • Great communication skills to partner and influence other departments outside the product teams.
