We are now recruiting a Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Senior Manager to join our diverse Manufacturing Information Technology team in Westport, Co. Mayo. In this role, you will lead the Business Technology team in delivering operational support for Manufacturing Applications and Data systems while providing technical ownership for Manufacturing Applications and Data Systems and supporting the governance, compliance, and lifecycle management for these systems. You will also support the application and infrastructure change management and provide support for the successful execution of capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop, coach and mentor your team to perform to their highest capabilities 
•    Administer and advance technical support for critical control systems in manufacturing
•    Support system development lifecycle for critical control systems
•    Have technical ownership for the critical Packaging systems and support system governance, change control and configuration management
•    Detailed technical design (SDS/HDS/FDS) of manufacturing application and data systems in packaging
•    Provide for or manage support for the FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ and PQ as appropriate (depending on system complexity and criticality)
•    Disaster Recovery and system support matrices for critical control systems as part of transfer to production
•    Infrastructure deployment - (Workstation/Server qualification and setup, Application configuration and test Define Network configuration
•    Assume Business Ownership for the MES application environment and all aspects of data compliance while supporting the identification, escalation and resolution of major incidents
•    Co-ordinate regression test and sign off for software patching and code/configuration changes as requested by local and global MES teams
•    The provision of user support and training which should include supporting the development of training material, work instructions for new users (& super users) and BTS support personnel.
•    Support the identification, implementation and testing of continuous process improvement opportunities and support the migration of system use from EBR-lite to MES

• Youl will have a 3rd level qualification in Information Technology/Mechatronics/Computer Science/Automation with 5 to 7 years’ experience delivering technology services preferably within the Pharmaceutical, Biologics or medical device industry
• Expertise in two or more of the following technologies: SCADA, PI Historian, MES/EBR
• System Admin Windows 10 and Windows 2016 Server and a Strong knowledge of SQL, database administration
• Good analytical skills and a proven ability to solve problem with good documentation skills
• Proven expertise in data integrity controls and data compliance.
