Senior IT Systems Administrator

Reporting to the Senior Support Manager you will support the ICT team in the provision of onsite IT systems administration including technical support of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. Supporting both internal and external customers in the management of desktops, laptops and mobile devices, servers, networks, IT security systems & other critical components of the IT infrastructure.

What’s Involved:

  • Managing user accounts in all IT systems for local and remote users
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Windows and Apple hardware, software and & Office365
  • Technical support of Audio Visual and online classroom equipment
  • Ensure all IT Support tickets are responded to in a timely manner and all actions taken are documented
  • Deploy and maintain all Windows & Mac operating systems on laptops and desktops
  • Administration of Active Directory, Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange server (Mailbox, Distribution Groups, Resource administration)
  • Relevant IT 3rd Level Qualification
  • Min 2 years’ experience as a Systems Admin, Technical Analyst, Network Admin or similar role.
  • Experience supporting / administering O365, SQL Databases, networks, patch & ticket management, Hyper V, Security & backup software, MS office suite, MS Exchange & SharePoint, AV equipment.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, team working and adaptability.
