My West Dublin client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to join their fast-paced IT team. This is rapidly expanding business with an international customer base offering excellent exposure to the latest technologies. Job Responsibilities
- Provide a blend of Level 1-3 software and hardware support to multiple customers.
- Manage a broad range of IT services based on customer needs (e.g. installations, migrations, troubleshooting, networking, cloud-base solutions, etc).
- Manage technical incidents and escalated issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide advice and recommendations to customers on the best technologies for their needs.
- Mentor and support Level 1-2 Engineers to enhance the team’s service delivery.
- Occasional travel to clients may be required from time to time, but mainly office-based.
Experience Required
- 6+ years’ experience as an IT Engineer, currently acting at a Senior level.
- Proven track record of providing Level 1-3 technical support to a high standard.
- Full clean driving licence is essential.
- Previous experience in an IT Managed Service Provider would be a bonus.
- Demonstrable experience across the following Technical Skills:

- Diploma or degree in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience

- Microsoft Office 365 migrations
- Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN)
- Firewalls (e.g. SonicWall)

- Excellent communication skills with ability to support technical and non-technical users at all levels.
- Self-starter who uses their own initiative, takes ownership, and prioritises workload.
- An IT ‘all-rounder’ with a keen interest in using different technologies.
