We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect to join a leading organisation who have just begun work on a Greenfield site. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and governance of the Infrastructure platforms to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Infrastructure & Technical Architecture design across all platforms & systems
- Provide expertise across multiple disciplines including AD, Hosting, Network, Telco, Storage, Security, and Support
- Develop Infrastructure and Technical Architecture principles and standards.
- Interacting with business partners, and 3rd party vendors.
- Work with technical and business teams to evaluate new and emerging technologies, vendors and business models.
- Conducting gap analysis of current to target state technical architecture.
- Definition of the roadmap and plans to achieve target state.
- Govern Projects in Delivery to ensure adherence to Original Design.
- Provide Leadership in Infrastructure and Technical Architecture
- 5 years working as an Infrastructure Architecture with experience on a Greenfield site
- Excellent understanding of Infrastructure Architecture with ability to design secure, highly resilient solutions.
- SME with broad technical knowledge, in architecting and designing infrastructure solutions involving compute, storage, IoT, Mobility and networking components
- Understanding of latest cloud computing (Azure) and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options.
- Strong awareness around Cloud Security
- Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
