Job Description:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will design and implement solutions to improve automation, monitoring, and instrumentation for the management and security of cryptocurrencies. This role offers tremendous exposure to industry leading Cryptographic processes & practices, hands-on exposure to Hardware Security Modules, exposure to Blockchain/Digital Currencies, and leading systems monitoring tools & technologies.
What you will do
- Drive automation to configure, manage, and continuously monitor Cryptocurrency security systems
- Be heavily involved in the ongoing maintenance and expansion of our AWS footprint, including performance tuning and scaling across multiple regions
- Own the production configuration and deployment process, and continue to evolve towards no downtime change management
- Provide hands-on operational support to the Cryptocurrency team for cloud as well as physical deployments. Candidate must be in commutable distance to Dublin Ireland for HSM support
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A passion for Cryptocurrencies and/or blockchain technology
- Hands on development experience with AWS or other public cloud provider.
- Experience with API Management and Kubernetes/Containerization is preferred.
- Strong understanding of release management including CI/CD pipeline creation and automation (Ansible/ Python/CloudFormation/Terraform)
- Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) for key management is preferred
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting leveraging tools such as DataDog, Splunk, CloudWatch is a plus
- Available to join an on-call production support rotation
- 6+ years of experience in a distributed IT Engineering and/or support function
