Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Design silent installs, upgrades, patching systems for the Oracle DBs
- Optimizing the performance of the OLTP DB(s) to support 3-tier system architecture, utilizing indexing, partitioning and data lifecycles
- Designing and implementing data management processes: security, lifecycle management, and operational readiness
- Designing and implementing data conversion solutions via Oracle PL/SQL.
Skills:
- Requires knowledge and prior experience working with the latest versions of the Oracle DB but specifically Oracle 12c and 18c (certifications strongly desired)
- Requires knowledge and prior experience working with Oracle PLSQL and related IDE tools, such as PLSQL Developer, TOAD
- Requires knowledge and prior experience working with Oracle Grid and Real Application Clusters (RAC) technologies
Requires knowledge and prior experience of Oracle DB options such as:
- Partitioning
- Advanced Security
- Active Data Guard, Golden Gate & Data Pump
- Lifecycle Management
- RMAN and Secure Backup
- Real Application Clusters
- APEX
Requirements:
- Background in DBRE or database automation (RHSA/RHCE highly desired)
- Required knowledge and prior experience working with standard data constructs such as XML, XSD, JSON, 3NF, and YAML.
- Strong knowledge and troubleshooting of ODBC and Java
- Requires knowledge and prior experience working in SCRUM agile methodology
- Preferred knowledge and prior experience working with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Preferred knowledge and prior experience working with ETL technologies
- Experience with Data warehousing, Cubes, and emerging EPP/MPP data designs
- Seasons experience in Linux, AWS, and Storage is required.
- RHSA or above certification preferred
- OCP 11, OCP 12 is desired
