Leading client in Dublin City is looking for a Senior Data Architect / Head of Data.
Leading corporate client in Dublin City is looking for a Senior Data Architect / Head of Data who can lead their Advisory/ Integration services that works with some of the leading public and private sector clients in Ireland. You must possess excellent communications skills and have good client relationship skills.
Responsibilities:
- The person will be responsible for leading a data engineering practice in a consulting environment
- They will have experience in large scale data engineering projects, working to bring together disparate data sources
- Experience using disparate integration techniques such ETL, API, and Data Streaming
- Experience of Cloud Data Tools and Platform (ie Azure or AWS)
- Experience of full Data Lifecycle.
- Knowledge, or familiarity of modern analytics and visualisation techniques
- Knowledge, or awareness of Machine Learning algorithms and how to apply them for business benefit
- Ability to work with other technology implementation teams as part of an overall proposition
Education:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related subject (Advanced degree desirable)
- Professional qualifications and industry certifications in Data or Cloud
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of Data Architecture
- Strong working knowledge building large Data lakes/ data roadmaps for clients
- Strong experience of managing teams
- Ability to work large clients and have a strong commercial awareness
