Job Responsibilities
- Receive a wide variety of requirements from line managers and architecture and translate them into solid, clear and tested software requirements.
- Review and monitor code for a high standard and quality, looking for consistency and compliance.
- Write a high level of C/C++ code.
- Help, train and mentor junior developers so they can improve their skills and knowledge.
- Help with the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices.
- Be involved for the development and implementation of new features as well as the gradual update of a legacy base of coding.
Experience Required
- Embedded Linux development or similar
- Writing software specifications
- Defining software interfaces and systems
- Performing code reviews when required
- Excellent working knowledge of C and modern C++ in embedded systems.
- Experience and working knowledge of one or more of CERT-C++, CppCoreGuidelines
- Knowledge of Autosar C++14 guidelines, CERT-C, MISRA-C, MISRA-C++
Essential and Desirable Skills
- A working background in Cybersecurity
- Experience with BSP development.
- Agile environment experience
- Knowledge and experience with realtime or time-constrained systems.
