Job Summary:
We are now looking for a Senior Cloud Integration/ SeniorSupport Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system.
The responsibility includes ability to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the integration of network nodes and their configuration within sophisticated network architectures. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of new nodes introduction, upgrade and capacity expansion, new functionality/feature integration and testing. Your work will in part form our customer legacy!
Additional Requirements:
- Earlier experience in Integration or Customer Support Engineer role
- Be able to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure in the presence of the customer
- Available to travel internationally with short notice
- Track record of innovation in terms of improvement to existing portfolio or creation of new business ideas.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master in Computer science, Telecommunications, or other related degrees
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience as an integration/technical support engineer
- Good knowledge of IP Networks, and related nodes/protocols. IP Certification is preferred but not a pre-requisite for this role.
- Expertise and hands-on in at least one Linux distribution, ideally SUSE
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructure solutions, e.g. OpenStack
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container based solutions
- Scripting & coding skills
- Translation of customer documentation and process guides into specific Onsite Integration guidelines to support Ericsson rollout activities.
- Broad knowledge of Telecommunication Networks from Service and Application Layer through to Backbone.
- Applying expertise & technology in crafting and innovating
- Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations.
- You will need excellent planning and organizing skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing C technical solutions based on cloud technology including NFVi CNCF, Containerization, cloud platforms, cloud data centers.
- Working in the Delivery phases of customer engagement for e2e Cloud Transformation.
- Plan the implementation of the product configuration/integration work
- Execute product configuration, integration, migration work and customer support CSRs
- Prepare and execute customer accept test
- Identify and drive improvements
- Post project support activities
- Knowledge sharing and teamwork skills
