We are enabling customers to order, manage and track their own clinical outcomes through a personal online account.
Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our exciting high growth company. We want someone that is hardworking, self-motivated and with attention to detail, to join us to continue to drive our business forward.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with the product team to design and develop features for our Native Android applications
- Responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting LetsGetChecked’s application
- Contribute to app design and usability with feedback and suggestions
- Ensure a high quality of code and user experience, investigating and fixing bugs and crashes within the app
- Work to deliver the product road-map by collaborating with Product, QA, Design, back-end teams and Analytics to deliver the right solutions
- Proactively identify and suggest potential product updates and improvements based on new Android features
- Mentoring of junior team members
- Collaborate with iOS developers by working alongside them on solutions which cross both platforms
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in Android Development.
- Proficient with Java or Kotlin (preferably)
- Knowledge of Android SDK
- Experience with programmatically creating user interfaces strongly desired
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
- Proficient with continuous integration tools
