Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the direction of security concerns in our platform. Identify areas of improvement, suggesting and designing solutions to them.
• Define a technical roadmap that supports our business and technical objectives.
• While not a management position, the security architect is a technical leader and will be expected to attract and retain top engineering talent and foster a strong team culture.
• A willingness to act as a role model and mentor to our architecture and engineering team developers.

Key Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated experience working with business and technology stakeholders to define a complete end to end software solution.
• Experience in designing high-volume applications – preferably in a C#, Microservices, Azure environment.
• Knowledge of tools in our architecture and development stack is an advantage: C#, WebApi, .NET Core, Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka (confluent.io), SQL and No SQL databases, Azure.
• Deep technical knowledge with a history of solving complex problems. Adept at identifying and solving challenges around security, scaling, resilience, and consistency.
• Experience in eCommerce is highly desirable.
• Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems.
• Outstanding communication skills required – primarily the ability to communicate ideas.
• Good at explaining the solution through documentation and verbal communication and an ability to build a consensus on the solution.
