Sage is looking for a Program Manager to join our In-life SBC team in the role of Scrum Master. Working across multiple scrum teams you will deliver tools and technology that enhance our digital engagement capabilities. You will operate across multiple Scrum teams ensuring that we are sequencing releases across both web and product to maximise impact to our customer experience. Working closely with the team members you will ensure release goals are set and met, through the application of best practise Agile principles. As an experienced project manager, you will guide the Scrum teams and where appropriate introduce improvements and refine working practices. You will be working in an ever evolving, energetic environment bringing real value to our stakeholders. The combination of enhancing existing applications and tools coupled with working on high-value new projects keeps the job exciting and dynamic.
This role is perfect for a strong Program Manager with excellent analytical, communication, and people skills. We are seeking candidates who embrace teamwork and an Agile approach. Successful candidates will also be versed in numerous Agile methodologies with an emphasis on Scrum across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead and execute the delivery of scaled Agile Digital programmes for adoption and onboarding customer journeys.
•Exemplify Scrum values and Principles.
•Facilitate the effective operation of Scrum events and ceremonies as needed.
•Guide the team and surrounding organisation on how to adopt Agile/Scrum practices
•Remove impediments by engaging with those who can assist.
•Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution .
•Assisting with internal team communication, improving transparency and test and learn mentality.
•Support the Product Managers, especially with respect to product backlog refinement and maintenance.
•Navigate complex programme/project governance, minimising our exposure and risk on programmes/ project delivery.
•Juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while managing and adhering to budget.
•Develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders both regional and central.
•Hands on Scrum experience in a dedicated Scrum Master role
•Understanding / exposure to Scaled Agile practices
•Experience of delivering solutions using Agile methodologies
•Detailed understanding of Agile metrics and value tracking across the SDLC
•Strong experience working with a Scrum Team in a scaled environment including remote teams
•Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
•Formal Agile certification (e.g. Certified Scrum Master)
