Project Engineer
About the role:
- This is a day shift position.
- Hybrid role – candidate will be expected to work both onsite and also from home, approx. 50% of the time – TBD with manager.
- Working with a Large Medical Company to work on orders for machines building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple project activities while working with internal and external cross-functional groups.
- Works closely with customers to understand requirements and propose creative and cost-effective solutions.
- Reading technical drawings – familiarity with Solidworks/ AutoCAD.
- Generates requests for quotations for external suppliers for new and upgrade equipment.
- Ensures equipment requests are processed in a timely and effective manner.
- Participates in cross-functional design reviews.
- Document meetings and coordinate status reports and approvals on deliverables.
- Understand and adhere to project milestones and overall timelines set out.
- Calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
- Coordinates and prioritizes internal and vendor related activities as they pertain to service, maintenance, upgrades, etc.
Key Requirements:
- Level 7 qualification in engineering – mechanical, automation, industrial, electrical, or other relevant area
- 2 years’ experience in similar position.
- Familiarity with Solidworks/ AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
