This position requires a person to be our Senior Professional Services Engineer.

Roles and responsibilities

Design, configures and installation of the following:

HP PC’s and Laptops

HP Switches

Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 (Teams/SharePoint and OneDrive)

HP Printers

Sonicwall Capture Client

Azure/Storagecraft backup Solutions

SonicWall Firewalls

Sonic Points – WAP – Guest and Internal

SonicWall VPN – Global and SSL

Server/VMware installations

Other adhoc projects

In addition:

Assist sales to scope projects.

Basic reporting for customers

Documentation

Other key factors

All customers in Dublin area

Participate in process improvement opportunities.

Some projects require out of hours (evenings /weekends) where customer cannot have downtime.

Skills and Experience

3 to 5 years in a similar operational role in an IT company

Experience working with progressive SME size customers.

Has experience of installation work.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detailed knowledge of Microsoft (Windows Servers, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory)

VLAN

Firewall Management

Sharepoint experience

TCP/IP - including switches, routers, general network topology, internet protocols.

Experience supporting Active Directory, O365/Exchange, and Windows security

Education

3rd level qualification in Computer Science or related discipline

Microsoft certifications

Salary depending on experience. €40k - €50k
