The Role

Fidelity Labs is looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join a newly founded start-up. As a key member of a small and growing engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the technology, architecture and dev ops infrastructure of world class end-to-end systems.

Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines, networking, operational resiliency, failover & data recovery, configuration & infrastructure management systems (ideally with Azure and/or AWS).

Strong experience with DevOps tools, for example, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Docker

Strong experience with logging and monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog and Splunk.

Strong experience with containerization and the ability to examine trade-offs between tools like Kubernetes and Nomad.

Strong experience establishing development standard methodologies for infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.

Experience with CDN Providers, for example, Akamai.

Proficiency with Unix operating systems and shell scripting

Bonus points for experience with GitHub Actions, LaunchDarkly and Nomad.

You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

You are passionate and committed to learning new tools and develop with the latest technologies and frameworks, always looking to improve your engineering skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
