As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic AWS squad continuously innovating and improving our enablement platforms and capabilities to accelerate Fidelity’s journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, leveraging cutting edge architectures and services.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with two or more languages – Java, Python, Go, etc.
- Several years’ experience working hands-on with AWS.
- Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Terraform etc).
- Extensive experience working with API’s.
- Extensive experience using API frameworks – Spring Boot etc.
- Hands on experience working container and serverless applications.
- Experience designing and architecting cloud native applications.
- Strong understanding of aws cloud security and account management
- Strong understanding of coding patterns and engineering best practices.
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Passionate about working in a devops culture.
- Very strong technical aptitude to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on best practice and engineering excellence.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams
