The Role

As a Principal Cloud Engineer you will work in the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE). The agile team is cross-functional team committed to providing value to our delivery teams through our technology solutions. Our team blends deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies. We are passionate about opensource contribution and participating in foundations like the CNCF and CDF while embracing a continuous learning mindset in an open and transparent culture.

The Team

The Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE) partner with delivery teams and build exceptional cloud capabilities to accelerate their journey to the cloud. This global team, utilize multi cloud native stacks while using industry leading best practices, built using the latest technologies while ensuring high levels of resiliency and security. The team has a passion for open source and continuous learning while pursuing engineering excellence in the cloud in a collaborative, open and transparent culture.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Hands-on experience in 2 or more languages (Java, Python, Go, C# etc.)
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing automation & CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working hands-on with AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Arm, Terraform etc).
• Strong understanding of coding patterns and engineering best practices.
• Experience in building microservices and knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and architecting cloud native applications.
• Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• Very strong technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends.
• Passion for a devops and continuous learning culture.
