Job Description

  • Lead the Integration workstream activities ensuring the successful delivery of an integrated end-to-end eBusiness solution.
  • Define the integration architecture and any of its transitional states.
  • Ensure integration design and delivery fully complies with all the internal and regulatory standards, policies and practices
  • Apply strong experience in the application of integration security protocols based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Use the various support service models, including those through to 3rd parties for any service changes to infrastructure, firewalls, directory services, etc.
  • Ensure all key design decisions gain approval through to the relevant forums.
  • Apply best integration design practices and principles while meeting delivery timelines and commitments.
  • Work closely and effectively with the project work stream leads, the customer’s project and operations teams, and 3rd party suppliers to ensure the integration solution meets all stakeholder needs.
  • Promote industry best practices through the adoption of modern integration approaches while balancing the need to deliver within project considerations including schedule, cost, etc.
  • Develop integration artifacts such as the Interface Register, Technical and Functional Interface Specifications, and Integration Architecture.
  • Work closely with the project EA on all key decisions and on-going integration work.
  • Provide integration input to both the detailed project planning and cutover planning activities.
  • Effectively apply expert knowledge of eBusiness integration best practices including its data interfaces, XML Gateway, Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) to various integration scenarios.
  • Gain a good understanding of the inherited batch-file framework, the GIE, so as to on-board change to existing as well as new CEMLI integrations.
  • Leverage, where appropriate the existing investment in integration solutions such as the adoption of Dell Boomi Integration-as-a-Service.
  • Factor considerations for non-functional requirements (NFRs) and operational needs into all aspects of the integration solution

Must have a work permit due to timeframes.  

All roles are currently remote but must be UK or Ireland-based.

Qualifications

  • First-hand experience in designing and implementing integration protocols (Oracle ERP vs. 3rd party systems) both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Deep understanding of cloud integration methodologies and has designed/developed in MS Azure (including IaaS) & AWS and has experience in designing/developing SOA architectures batch solutions, and integrations using web services using SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Experienced in non-functional requirements and security as applied to integration solutions.
  • Experienced in leading a team of technical developers and ensuring coding standards are followed.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and can lead technical architecture boards (forums) to make key decisions by providing relevant information via presentation and tech design documents.
