As Fenergo is growing we are now looking for a Network Engineer to join our technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to come onboard to can deliver to Fenergo’s operational excellence strategy. Zero trust is at the core for this strategy along with reliability and scalability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning, building and supporting Fenergo to deliver mission critical services across our cloud and corporate estates.
  • Day to day network management of the core network estate.
  • Help drive innovation and solutions to solve complex challenges around reliability and global scalability.
  • Project work such as new datacentre or office deployments, Firewall upgrades, cloud integration etc
  • Reviewing network requirements and assist project teams to implement our zero-trust principle.
  • Proactive system monitoring and integration into current monitoring systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues across a broad range of technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with 3rd party suppliers for hardware/software procurement.
  • Provide second line response to 24x7on-call support if required.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need

  • At least 5+ years experiencing in designing and supporting mission critical network environments.
  • Experience implementing and managing highly available, online infrastructure services in an enterprise environment (Ideally SaaS).
  • Experience migrating from hosted traditional stack to a cloud-based stack.
  • Subject matter expert in data centre solutions, physical network devices, management tooling and software defined networking.
  • Knowledge of DevOps automations tools & scripting,
  • Experience with logging from an operations and end user perspective
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem resolution skills.
  • Certification as Network Engineer holding one or more of the following qualifications: CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, PCNSE, PCNSA
  • Desire to further advance their technical certifications to assist the company maintain their high levels of technical excellence
