This is an attractive role with one of our major clients in Galway, and the role is summarized below. 

 

  • Design and develop software systems based on MVC .NET, SQL Server and Angular.
  • Using the Scrum framework for developing, and delivering applications.
  • Design and develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Using Test-Driven development to help in refactoring code to improve code quality.
  • Working with internal clients to design and develop business applications.

 

Experience required:

 

.Net Software Development

 

Providing input to project plans and status reports

Four years’ experience of developing software applications based on the Microsoft .Net framework (version 4.5+), C#, ASP.Net, with SQL Server database development (stored procedures, triggers), in an Agile development environment.

 

Software Development Process

Four years’ experience of working with a structured software development processes, including code testing frameworks e.g. Jasmine, and continuous delivery tools and source code management using Azure Devops, TFS or GitHub.

 

Requirements Analysis and Software Design

Experience with developing user requirements for new software functionality including through user stories and converting requirements into software designs. Experience with delivery of software for ISO or similar quality-accredited environments.

A Computer Science or relevant IT qualification with strong software element
